We are especially pleased to announce dollars from this fund were utilized in a recently published renal carcinoma study by several doctors at the University of Pennsylvania in which a sample of Miso’s cancerous tumor was utilized in the study.
In short, the study determined that increased numbers of T regulatory cells were associated with renal carcinoma cases that spread quicker and shortened survival times. Given this discovery, these cells can be more aggressively targeted with various treatments – both existing ones, and others in development.
It’s these types of small discoveries that can lead to bigger results down the road.
We are so appreciative for everything the incredibly talented veterinary doctors at the University of Pennsylvania are doing each and every day.
